Democratic Technocracy
We, the Technocracy of Kygo, exist to protect our citizens and advance civilization.
There is one Senior Technocrat and one Secondary Technocrat for each department in the government. Every four years there is an election for each department.
Government (presides over meetings, organizes the government, is elected by all citizens)
Defense (is elected by all citizens who are a leader of any level in the military)
Medical (is elected by all citizens with a medical degree)
Education (is elected by all citizens with a school aged child or who are in post-secondary)
Civil (is elected by all citizens with an engineering degree)
Finance (is elected by all citizens who own a business)
Judicial (is elected by all citizens with a law degree)
International Relations (is elected by all ambassadors and elected technocrats)
Every four years, each citizen votes for one Senior and one Secondary Technocrat in each of the categories that he or she has a say in.

Immigration is generally based on education.
The country also offers a program where immigrants can receive a temporary living permit if they become an apprentice to a registered employer.
Only a 15% income tax.
There are tax deductions for those who pay taxes in multiple countries
Most comes from oil, although there are a few wind farms, hydroelectric dams, and one nuclear power plant
We are well defended by our powerful friends and powerful weapons
Kygo is committed to the welfare of its people
Therefore it provides welfare to those who are eligible (fairly strict)
Kygo provides free healthcare to all citizens although there are many private hospitals and clinics as well
Kygo also provides free schooling for all citizens, although there are many private schools and universities as well
Kygo provides very little foreign aid directly, instead it encourages investment in the countries it wants to support by adding a bonus monetary percentage to all investment in the countries' economies.
